sizing and distribution system
allocates whole birds according to weight, grade, and other parameters.

Grade detect station: mounted over the rehang table for grading birds as they are rehung (up to 3 may be utilized). Birds will not be missed because of swinging...we utilize both weight and proximity to sense a bird. High-speed scale unit: our overhead scale weighs broilers with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.5 percent of its true weight, 95 percent of the time. And with built-in overload protection, crossed- shackle detection, a simplified, stainless steel, environmentally protected single load cell design - plus an extended entrance ramp to minimize swinging - Gainco's high-speed scale unit weighs in as the best of its kind available. Bird unloaders: mounted downstream of the scale at desired drop points on the overhead line. They are fully adjustable, heavy duty, and feature dual guide bars to minimize bird swinging and assure reliable bird discharge. Sync sensors: mounted at selective points near the bird unloaders and use through-beam sensors to recount passing shackles. By reestablishing the position of each shackle as it approaches the unloader, the overhead system can compensate for line stretch or uneven wear.
