Tested Under Fire

Sometimes it takes a major calamity to prove the tough resilience of a product.

A large Alabama poultry processing plant sustained major damage in a fire on its processing floor. A DuraWeigh® bench scale with our Gainco Infiniti® indicator was retrieved from the fire scene and shipped back to our factory for testing and repair.

Although badly singed and smelling of smoke, not only did the indicator power up with no problem, it weighed with perfect accuracy! Now, that’s performance under fire.

This Gainco heavy-duty scale survived a fire and still works.
